Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Admin/Accounting Assistant with a degree in Business Administration or Accounting to join our team. You will ensure efficient office operations and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires expertise in payroll processing, verifying financial statements, and analyzing spending patterns.
Responsibilities:
Payroll and Financial Management:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Verify and reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
- Analyze spending trends and recommend cost-saving measures
Accounting Tasks:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare and reconcile bank deposits and statements.
- Track and manage company expenses, ensuring they align with the budget.
- Assist in month-end financial reporting and closing.
Admin Support:
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and office events
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., Spreadhseets, QuickBooks).
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles
General Office Management:
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files and records.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
Communiation:
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Accounting Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing.
- Proficiency with Spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
