TOUGHBOOK Deployment Support Technician

• The TOUGHBOOK Deployment Support Technician will provide onsite support for the deployment of 1000 TOUGHBOOK FZ-55’s to Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
• This includes being the onsite technical presence representing us through the deployment project and working alongside with the technical staff from Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
• Specific responsibilities could include unboxing laptops, adding laptops to Active Directory Domain, completing post configuration image deployment steps, adding asset tags, SIM card installation, migration from old to new laptop with end users, collection of old laptops, management of RMA’s, onsite logistics coordination, reporting, and any other assigned work related to the deployment project.
• Additionally, the Onsite Support Technician will be responsible for communicating and escalating any issues to our project team.
• The Technician will adhere to our service standards and policies throughout the project, maintaining professionalism and ensuring the client’s satisfaction with the deployment process.

• Key communications contacts (internal/external) and level of persistence required
• Strong verbal and written communication skill.
• Ability to effectively liaise between the client’s technical staff and our project team. Other Requirements
• Ability to Commute to Orlando
• Must be able to lift and/or move objects with a weight of 20 to 70 lbs
• Criminal Record Check
• Pre-Employment Drug Test
• Passing of CJIS exam administered by Orlando County
  
  

Minimum Entrance Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Applicants must have at least two (2) to years of full-time or equivalent part-time work experience working in IT ideally with Windows endpoints.
• Basic knowledge using Active Directory
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA Tech , A ; Microsoft Certifications is preferred.
• Experience with Public Sector is beneficial. Competencies: Key desired behaviors, e.g., problem solving, innovation, collaboration, etc.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to deliver exceptional support and ensure user satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments and adjusting to shifting priorities during deployment projects.
• Ensures all deployment steps, configurations, and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track deployment progress, and meet project deadlines efficiently.
