Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared, plated, and delivered to customers efficiently and accurately. Duties
- Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure all orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of food safety and handling.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests from guests.
- Support banquet operations by coordinating large orders and ensuring timely service during events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
