Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team at our homemade ice cream shop. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, preparing and serving goods, assigning tasks, and monitoring team performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
We are a small, family-oriented business and are looking for someone who is flexible and able to be a strong leader!
Duties
- Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in serving customers, cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to company policies.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Preparing baked goods and handling routine maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Qualifications
- Adults 18 are preferred.
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Previous experience in some kind of leadership role is required.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example and inspire team members.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
