Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
- Follow food handling safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support catering events by ensuring all necessary kitchen items are clean and ready for use.
- Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
Skills
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
