Fat Pat's Bar & Grill in Lake Charles is currently looking to hire experienced FOH Servers and Bartenders to their team!
The right Server or Bartender uplifts the dining experience for customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role.
Server/Bartender responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill. If you are able to perform well in fast-paced environments, we’d like to meet you.
To be a successful Server or Bartender, you should be polite with our customers and make sure they enjoy their meals. You should also be a team player and be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Looking for at least 2 years of experience in the restaurant industry.
We are located at 2620 Dillard Loop in Lake Charles, LA and we're expected to open for business this Fall!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $2.13 per hour (Servers)
$3.13 per hour (Bartenders)

Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
- Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
- Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
- Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
- Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
- Other duties as requested
