MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Engineers and implements network and operating system solutions.
Manages cloud SaaS Systems to reduce enterprise costs & complexity, while increasing reliability, including Office365, Mobile Devices Management, and other Azure solutions.
Manages Active Directory Objects and Group Policy within the organizational guidelines.
Assists with user and group management.
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots operating systems including Microsoft Windows and MAC OS.
Manages security on servers and workstations including patching, hardening, and security software management.
Designs, implements, and supports enterprise systems to support imaging, software deployments, imaging, and management of all workstations including Windows and MACs as well as testing and managing application packaging and delivery across all supported workstations.
Works with Infrastructure Engineering to install, maintain, and support an enterprise class virtual desktop environment.
Installs and maintains enterprise server-based applications, and coordinates support with vendors.
Designs and performs server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with disaster recovery and business continuity strategies; participates in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design and implementation.
Assists in the supporting and troubleshooting internal and external web based applications.
Ensures system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications; ensures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
Creates and maintains documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
Provides documentation and training materials to other IT Staff and end users for modified and new applications, processes, and systems.
Supports authentication methodologies including Radius, Kerberos, PAM, and certificate-based authentication.
Uses Scripting Tools where appropriate to automate processes.
Gauges the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develops and implements strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Maintains technical adherence to external compliance mandates and assists in the development of policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Working technical knowledge of current software protocols, and Internet standards and working knowledge of network and operating systems, including Microsoft Windows.
Excellent software troubleshooting skills.
Excellent understanding of organizational goals and objectives.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy and security practices and laws.
Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
Ability to communicate ideas in technical, business-friendly, and user-friendly language appropriate to both executive and managerial audiences.
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, team-oriented, collaborative environment and to meet deadlines and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of systems and applications; experience with systems planning and security.
On-call (continuously or rotationally) to provide support required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.
