Position Title: Employment Case Manager
Reports To: Coordinator / Director
Direct Reports: No Direct Reports / Employment Services
Job Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Description of this role: The Employment Case Manager’s primary responsibilities are to identify employment opportunities and conduct job readiness skills training for all participants enrolled in the program.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities - includes the following and other related duties may be assigned.
- Completes detailed needs assessment determining individual eligibility and identifying barriers to employment and training needs.
- Develops and maintains relationships with area employers seeking a commitment to hire FFSC clients.
- Assists clients in job search and placement opportunities through the job placement program and provides training in job search and interview techniques to participants of FFSC.
- Ensures that graduates and employers have completed all necessary paperwork and distributed appropriately, i.e., employment verification forms.
- Meets regularly with case management team to review employment and educational/vocational status of all participants, current and past.
- Submits regular reports to the coordinator detailing the employment/educational status of all graduates and all other activities including employer contracts and client job performance evaluations.
- Provides job leads, post-employment, and job retention support to participants.
- Attends all staff meetings, partner meetings, and community events as required.

- Must possess knowledge of human behavior and performance, individual differences in ability, personality, and interests.
- Must demonstrated ability to build relationships and establish trust.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate oral comprehension, expression, and problem sensitivity.
- Must be resilient and tenacious with high level of personal integrity and passion for FFSC’s mission.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Products. Experience with Apricot, Social Solutions, or ETO a plus.
- Must be able to enter, store, and maintain information in written and electronic form.
- Must have strong data management and analysis skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must understand and practice the NASW code of ethics.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Must have a Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Must have competence in working with men who need direction as it relates to responsible fatherhood.
- Must have previous experience in career services or job placement
- Must possess a valid Missouri Drivers license and a reliable insured vehicle for transportation.
