What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Training Specialist position at Fathom Realty, a Company of Fathom Holdings, Inc.?
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) and/or a teaching or training background.

- possess the ability to trouble-shoot with little to no guidance, be flexible and responsive to proactively re-prioritize
- travel opportunities may arise for on-site trainings or other company events (air and/or auto travel with trips lasting 1-7 days).
The Responsibilities:
Your duties and responsibilities for, but not limited to, the following:
- deliver live online Instructor Led Trainings to various user audiences within the organization
- deliver fully virtual e-Learning content and facilitate Small Group Training Sessions (limited scope virtual/remote trainings)
- contribute to development of training programs, curriculum, and materials utilizing authoring tools such as Articulate 360
- become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technology platforms provided by Fathom Realty
- contribute to management of LMS: tracking/testing/managing user accounts, groups, notifications, content, testing, etc.
- coordinate the monthly National Training Schedule and administrative tasks as they relate to National Training Team
- communicate key messages effectively, ensuring recipients understand content conveyed during training
- collaborate on departmental documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- support Agents and internal departments by phone/voicemail, email, chat, support tickets, or in-person when needed
- create, edit, post, maintain instructional videos/training-related materials, as needed
- develop positive professional relationships to collaborate with other functional areas throughout the organization
- contribute to a culture of continuous improvements, new approaches, and personal excellence
The Qualifications, Skills, and Traits:
- Qualifications: training or teaching experience is preferred; position requires ability to work from the Cary, NC office
- Required skills: LMS experience (any applicable platform), exceptional attention to detail, ability to quickly learn new technology then effectively instruct adult learners, strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong overall computer skills, ability to work without supervision, ability to prioritize responsibilities, ability to follow through on projects to completion with little supervision.
- Required traits: very high level of professionalism, strong written and verbal communication skills, willingness, and ability to effectively solve problems, ability to self-motivate, effective active listening, eagerness to learn, reliability, accountability, flexibility, trustworthiness, and possess an internal drive to grow and succeed while still helping others.
- Pluses include: experience with Docebo (HUGE plus!!), prior Customer Service experience, prior Real Estate experience, experience with ZenDesk, Dropbox, Google Drive, Google apps, and Microsoft Suites, video editing applications/software (such as OBS, Loom, or the Adobe Suite), content creation software (such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop), and PDF editing or formatting.
The Scheduled Work Hours:
Mon, Wed, Fri - 8:00am-5:00pm and Tues, Thurs. - 10:00am-7:00pm but schedule may vary, with advanced notice, based on scheduled training sessions or required company travel.
