Plant Controller Position Summary :
The Plant Controller, with other Plant Management, will have ownership of achieving Plant's performance metrics including Revenue, Gross Profit & Margin, Inventory Turns, etc. The Plant Controller will be in charge of all finance activities for Round Rock's manufacturing plant, most notably establishing proper processes and procedures around inventory, AR, AP, and other finance functions.
Plant Controller Key Responsibilities or Essential Functions :
- Provide advice and counsel to plant operating management to ensure the optimum performance of the plant.
- Manage and drive Global Shop upgrade and establish proper Accounting processes and procedures.
- With plant personnel, manage inventory on a regular basis as well as the annual physical, and implement cycle count process.
- Ensure internal controls are established, tested, and complied with throughout the fiscal year.
- Prepares and submits in a timely fashion, the month end close and management reports.
- Prepares financial projections and Plant status reports to divisional and corporate management as required and coordinates discussions with plant and division management on financial matters.
- Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports for Finance management.
- Perform analysis on accounting activity and recommend areas for process improvement.
- Supports audits by providing information and answers to auditors.
Plant Controller Expected Hours of Work :
Expected to work on-site from the Round Rock, TX office location and an expectation of approximately 45 hours per week.
Plant Controller Travel :
No travel is expected for this position.
