Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily inspections, operational monitoring, and reporting on assigned wells and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of oil and gas leases to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and record daily production data, including oil and water gauge input and verification.
- Operate artificial lift equipment, such as plunger lift, downhole pumps, and programmable controllers.
- Perform routine maintenance on all oil and gas surface production equipment.
- Collaborate with the Production Foreman to optimize production on assigned wells.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience as a Lease Operator or equivalent role in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Experience with compressor operations and knowledge of artificial lift equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with members of small and large teams.
- Ability to climb stairs, vessel ladders, and work at heights up to 25 feet.
