We are seeking an experienced Well Operations Specialist to join our team in Overton East Field Operations. The successful candidate will perform daily inspections, operational monitoring, and reporting on assigned wells and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of oil and gas leases to ensure optimal production.
- Monitor and record daily production data, including oil and water gauge input and verification.
- Operate artificial lift equipment, such as plunger lift, downhole pumps, and programmable controllers.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on all oil and gas surface production equipment.
- Collaborate with the Production Foreman to optimize production on assigned wells.
- Develop and maintain project lists for each lease to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience as a Lease Operator or equivalent role in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Experience with compressor operations and knowledge of artificial lift equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with members of small and large teams.
- Ability to climb stairs, vessel ladders, and work at heights up to 25 feet.
