What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance and Administration Specialist in a Law Firm position at Faulkner Banfield?
The law firm of Faulkner Banfield has an immediate opening for a part-time bookkeeper. Five years of previous bookkeeping and office management experience is preferred.
Duties Include:
- Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
- Payroll
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End Tax Reporting
- W-2 and 1099 Reporting
- Maintain General Ledger accounts to insure proper Financial Reporting
- Maintain all necessary insurance requirements
Applicant must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to work well with others, strong communication skills, and be self-motivated with excellent references. Have strong oral and written communication skills, be adept at time management and prioritizing, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
Faulkner Banfield is an established trusts/estates and corporate law firm in downtown Juneau. This is a busy and highly independent position that is responsible for all bookkeeping support for the firm.
