The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a qualified individual to join the Faculty for the Department of English. The teaching responsibilities of a 4/4 course load will include on-ground composition and literature courses at the undergraduate level and occasional online undergraduate and graduate courses. The successful candidate will engage in scholarship and professional development, review curriculum, assess student learning, mentor students, and participate in on-campus activities. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered Liberal Arts education, Christian service, and the mission of Faulkner University. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is for (2) full-time, 9-month positions. Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience and research.
Positions are scheduled to begin August 2025.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in English or closely related field required; PhD preferred
- Teaching experience or demonstrated teaching ability in English at the secondary or college level required
