Schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off.
The Medical Technologist (MT) I maintains current professional knowledge and skills to perform testing as a generalist in the Clinical Laboratory, including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, and basic microbiology and blood banking.
- Responsible for producing high quality, accurate test results in an efficient manner consistent with laboratory and hospital policy.
- Collects samples and analyze bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities. Collects blood and study blood samples used in transfusions.
- Performs automated tests using computerized instruments & automated equipment. Performs manual tests based on detailed instructions from a physician.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Associate’s degree □ Preferred X Required
Bachelor's degree X Preferred □ Required
Exception : Meets qualifications under the CLIA '88 Grandfather clause for High Complexity Testing personnel.
Required Skills
Certifications :
Medical Lab Technician (MLT ASCP) or Medical Lab Scientist (MLS ASCP) preferred
Required : successful completion of the MLT certification (ASCP) within 6 months of hire.
Minimum Work Experience
Required - Medical Technology internship at an accredited program.
Preferred - 1 - 2 years generalist
