What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Support Specialist - Medical Imaging - PRN Weekdays position at Fauquier Health?
The Unit Support Specialist independently performs all clerical and receptionist duties to coordinate the activities of the department, including the management and analysis of data and reports, the registration and scheduling of patients for tests and procedures, recommending and implementing process improvements, etc.
Requires a high level of professionalism and positive interface with internal and external customers. Assists with the transportation of patients when needed.

Minimum Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
Required - 2 years clerical experience, one year in a hospital.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
