Position Details:
General Responsibilities
- The Operations Trainer would be responsible for the regular instruction and development of incoming branch staff in any role and on a set and consistent schedule. Classes would be delivered primarily virtually, but also occasionally in person. Must be prepared to critically evaluate materials for update where needed to keep curriculum fresh.
- Identify ways to improve processes and service delivery.
- Drives customer satisfaction by matching products and services to their personal needs. Spend time building a deep understanding of our customers personal and business requirements.
- Build trusted relationships to enhance collaboration and cooperation.
- Set challenging and personal goals, use effective ways to track and measure progress, look for opportunities to learn and develop.
- Interact with others in an open, honest, respectful and fair manner, use a range of communication styles and methods to convey information.
Job Responsibilities
- Entry level training for all staff types on the branch level
- Keep regular cycle of instruction and check in with week 2, week 4, week 8 milestones
- Based on needs assessment and where applicable
- Once per quarter for all recent attendees in the entry level groups for the purpose of refining skill sets and elevating tool kit. Can be delivered virtually or in person depending on authorization
- Regular evaluation of training materials for relevance and accuracy
Experience and/or Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of adult learning types and how best to engage.
- Comfort presenting/teaching in a group setting either in person or virtually
- Experience facilitating education or instruction via Microsoft Teams
- Background experience in education or corporate training
