A growing specialty physicians’ group with multiple offices located in Shawnee, KS is currently seeking an experienced LPN or Medical Assistant to join their team full-time!Check out the details below :
Title : Clinic LPN or Certified Medical Assistant - MA
Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Outpatient - Urology
Location : Shawnee, KS
Schedule : Full-time, Monday – Friday, between 7 : 30AM-5PM (exact start time depends on patient schedule)
Pay : Based on experience plus full benefits!
The LPN / Medical Assistant will be responsible for direct patient care. Duties to include but not limited to :
- Rooming patients
- Obtaining vitals and medical histories
- Assisting physician during exams
- Lab work and blood draws
- Patient education
- Maintain exam rooms and instrument sterilization
- Returning patient calls on behalf of the physicians
- Assist the admin staff as needed such as : scheduling, performing prior authorizations, etc.
- Clinical documentation into electronic medical record systems
