Title : Occupational Therapist OTR / L
Job Type : Direct Hire – Permanent
Setting Type : Outpatient – Orthopedic / Physical Therapy
Location : Munster, IN
Schedule : Full-time, Mon-Fri, daytime hours except working evenings on Tues / Thursdays and Fridays are 7am-4pm are required. No weekends!
Salary : $85,000-110,000 based on experience plus a competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, 401k matching and profit sharing)
The Occupational Therapist administers necessary occupational therapy treatments as determined through an evaluation process for patients who suffer from injuries or dysfunction of systems including but not limited to pre- and post-surgical patients, sports injuries, spine dysfunction, podiatry, and pain management cases. The purpose of this treatment is to help restore function, relieve pain and prevent further disability such that the patient leads a normal life and can carry out daily activities. The Occupational Therapist performs these responsibilities individually or through appropriate delegation to and oversight of support staff.
Qualifications :
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program
- Current Indiana Occupational Therapist licensure
- WILLING TO TRAIN! Although outpatient experience would be a plus
