A large hospital located in Fairbanks, AK is currently seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to join their team full-time!Check out the details below :
Title : Ultrasound Technologist
Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Hospital
Location : Fairbanks, AK
Schedule : Full-time, M-F, 4 10-hour shifts, Days, rotating day off. No call or holidays
Pay : Starting wage begins at $33 / hr BOE plus relocation assistance, temporary housing assistance, and up to $25,000 retention bonus offered!
The Ultrasound Technologist duties to include but not limited to :
- Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures
- Educates patients / families regarding procedure and / or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior / conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes
- Produces high quality images and prepares / presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation
- Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive / interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies if applicable
- Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department
