RESPONSIBILITIES of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)(including but not limited to) :

  • Personal cares (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, skin care, etc)
  • Assistance with household cleaning
  • Review patient care plan
  • Lifting and transferring
  • Assistance with range of motion & positioning, exercise & ambulation
  • Assistance with dining & nutrition
  • Electronic charting
  • Exhibit and communicate the values of Favoured Hospice
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Provide excellent communication to staff and family / provide updates on patient condition

Requirements :

QUALIFICATIONS for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) :

  • Must be willing to commute to patients within a broad territory in Minnesota. Gas reimbursement provided.
  • Must have reliable vehicle.
  • Caregiving experience required (Home Care, Assisted Living / Memory Care, Skilled Nursing / Nursing Home, Hospital or Hospice)
  • Hospice experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Current CPR Certified
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Valid CNA License

    • In addition :

  • Must be accountable
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Good understanding of body mechanics
  • Strong communication skills-written, verbal, listening with attention
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good time management
  • Able to function in an electronic medical record
