Fay Belle Rugs is seeking a part-time, Office & Marketing Coordinator to support our operations, marketing, and interior designer clients. We conduct a controlled volume of high-end luxury area rugs, keeping our workflow steady but very manageable.

As a part-time Office & Marketing Coordinator:

 

You will work 4 days per week (2 in-office, and 2 remote) with our operation lead and sales lead to learn the ropes in supporting our current clients and maintaining daily business operations.

 

The person in this role will support our sales and operational leads on client orders, invoicing, shipping cost tracking, website updates, social media posting, editorial pitches, and additional projects. To be successful in this position you must be self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented. This role will require 4 days per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Learn about how rugs are made and sourced, along with our F B procedures;
  • Meet with team weekly to discuss sales, upcoming orders, and marketing projects;
  • Check in with interior designer clients weekly regarding new designs, orders, strike-offs, and deliveries;
  • Process purchase orders and invoices;
  • Track orders and freight costs;
  • Remote inventory tracking;
  • Email with international manufacturers regarding orders and timelines;
  • Coordinate people and logistics on new projects (e.g. rug collections, website updates, press pitches, etc.);
  • Manage and update the F B website every month;
  • Post to social media and send monthly email;
  • Process documentation;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our business development rep, manufacturers, and clients;
  • Potential travel 1-2 times per year.

 

Required Skills & Experience


  • Small business administrative support experience;
  • Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and order tracking;
  • Self-motivated and driven when working independently;
  • Detail-oriented, with strong communication skills;
  • Solid math skills - comfort in measurements, scale, calculating price points and margins, etc.


Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • Adobe Creative Suite and/or CAD skills;
  • Interior Design Industry and/or Home Furniture experience;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent business judgment and common sense

Fay Belle is a small, to-the-trade luxury area rug company that curates vintage rugs and designs custom rugs for high-end interior designers. We have a select client list of interior designers whom we support with excellent service and custom area rugs.

Salary : $20 - $22
