Reporting to the VP, IT Infrastructure, this position assists in the design, implementation and maintenance of the organization's IT systems to ensure their security, reliability, and efficiency. This role supports ongoing IT operations including managing and resolving escalations from the Level 1 and Level 2 support teams. Under the guidance of Senior Systems Engineers, this position supports the monitoring and optimization of system environments to meet business requirements.
Additionally, this role is responsible for system maintenance including support, troubleshooting, software and hardware installation, security compliance, and automation. This position collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and improve system performance to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems.

What you will do for Fay:
- Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure
- Monitor the stability, performance,e and security of systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Analyze business needs and recommend technical solutions to the team
- Participate in hardware and software evaluations as assigned
- Gather and analyze specific problem details to troubleshoot and resolve support issues
- Support the management of server environments, ensuring proper configuration, updates, and patch management
- Assist in maintaining the Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery procedures for server systems
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements for systems and infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Participate in system reviews and recommend improvements to meet evolving business needs
- Document and maintain procedures, configurations, and system changes for future reference
- Research and recommend industry best practices to enhance IT systems and improve efficiency
- Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of organizational objectives
- Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices. Successfully complete all department and company-required training

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/ GED) required
- 2 years’ experience with Windows Server and Active Directory, SAN Storage and Print Servers, including implementation and support
- 2 years’ experience with VMware Horizon, VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vRealize Operations (vROPS)
- 1 years’ experience with VEEAM, Nutanix and thin-client technologies, Terminal Services and VDI
- 1 years’ experience with Azure and/ or AWS administration
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience using PowerShell-based scripting preferred
- Prior experience in the financial services or mortgage industry preferred
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities and propose solutions
