Reporting to the Director, Treasury, this position is responsible for supporting the daily treasury operations and banking functions, including processing funds transfers, opening/closing bank accounts, analyzing bank charges, researching exception items, tracking department activity, and preparing related reports.
This role is responsible for transferring daily advances from operating accounts to client custodial accounts and recovering funds back to operating accounts to meet cash requirements and avoid overdrafts. Additionally, this position collaborates with bank representatives and internal parties, while coordinating work with other Treasury team members.

What you will do for Fay:
- Monitor and download daily bank balances, review and analyze trends to ensure overdraft fees are avoided
- Validate wiring instructions by telephone and prepare online wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other fund transfers
- Partner with the Director, Treasury Operations, and Chief Accounting Officer to open and close bank accounts
- Assist internal users with setup and perform training on banking systems
- Communicate with bank representatives to resolve issues and special requests
- Monitor the Treasury email account and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Recover funds advanced from operating accounts
- Download bank statements and perform analysis of bank charges; partner with accountants and other team members to research and resolve bank reconciliation items, positive pay items, and other exceptions/ issues
- Review aged checks and assist in resolution as needed
- Record and document all activity in logs and tracking schedules
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management
- Manage confidential and non-routine information; exercise strong judgment to ensure appropriate escalation and/ or review; articulate and explain Fay policies and/ or protocols as directed
- Develop and document standard processes for routine activities; surface ideas and solutions for process improvement
- Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of organizational objectives
- Develop positive working relationships within the team and across the organization
- Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices. Successfully complete all department and company-required training

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
- 1 years’ experience in treasury operations, corporate banking, or a related finance function
- Solid understanding of bank account management, cash management, and treasury operations
- Proficiency with financial systems and bank account management platforms; experience with ERP systems preferred
- Solid skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
