We are currently looking for a Loan Funder to join our team.
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Loan Funder – Originations is responsible for the timely funding of loans through warehouse portals, ensuring smooth loan processing, and maintaining accurate records. This position produces daily warehouse reports, updates funding trackers and coordinates with various departments to ensure proper loan funding and timely paydowns.
Additionally, this role updates the Loan Origination System (LOS) with funding details and tracks loan sales through the warehouse portals. This position collaborates closely with the closing department to review closing documents and wire requests and partners with the accounting team to monitor warehouse capacity and provide necessary funding reports.
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 years’ experience in loan funding
- 1 years’ experience within the mortgage banking industry
- Prior experience with warehouse loan servicing (WLS) and funding portals
- Familiarity with Encompass or similar loan origination software is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

Compensation
- The hiring range for this position is between $37,440.00-$54,080.00 annually
- This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
