Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for patients undergoing catheterization procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed.
• Provide suture care and manage catheter care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in ventilating patients when necessary and support discharge planning for outpatient procedures.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient information and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
• Conduct venipuncture as required for lab tests or IV access.
• Offer compassionate care to patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in a catheterization lab or similar clinical setting preferred.
• Strong skills in suture techniques, ventilating patients, and performing venipuncture.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment within a Level I Trauma Center.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $3,100.00 - $3,300.00 per week
