Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and monitor patients for changes in condition.
- Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers, as needed.
- Engage in sterile processing of medical equipment to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Deliver primary care services, including memory care for patients with cognitive impairments.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a home health or similar clinical setting.
- Proficiency in medication administration and experience administering injections.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and patient assessment protocols.
- Background in primary care practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in sterile processing procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of memory care strategies for patients with cognitive challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and families about health management.
