RN Hospice

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with terminal illnesses, ensuring comfort and dignity during their final stages of life. You will work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding end-of-life care options.
• Monitor symptoms and manage pain effectively using hospice palliative medicine techniques.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility support for patients in memory care settings.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Participate in on-call duties as required to provide continuous patient support.

Experience

• A valid nursing license is required; experience in ICU or travel nursing is preferred.
• Familiarity with neonatal ventilators and sonography is a plus.
• Experience in hospice palliative medicine or memory care settings is highly desirable.
• Skills in suturing and lifting patients safely are essential for this role.
• Previous experience with mammography is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per week
