Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures for laboratory testing.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of ICD-10 codes for diagnoses.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and family planning options.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of primary care principles and internal medicine practices.
- Proficiency in performing medical procedures such as venipuncture and phlebotomy.
- Familiarity with emergency room (ER) protocols and standards of care in critical settings.
- Ability to interpret vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions.
