What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Allied Health Programs position at Fayette County Career & Technical Institute?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director will oversee delivery of post-secondary allied health programs and will serve as the LPN Program Coordinator. The Director will ensure that all programs are delivered with fidelity and are in compliance to ACEN, Middle States, SBON, and Title IV standards. This will involve staff supervision and evaluation, budgeting, curriculum development, handling of student issues, and community outreach.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Planning, scheduling, and supervising all health services (allied health) courses and programs in adult education.
2. Providing orientation of new staff.
3. Assisting and submitting a budget and strategic plan annually in allied healthcare (related programs)
4. Recruiting, interviewing, and recommending qualified staff for employment.
5. Supervising of staff as well as completing annual evaluations
6. Maintaining a professional working relationship with the area medical establishments as well as other divisions within the college
7. Ensuring that all state/federal guidelines/curriculum are followed regarding health services (allied health) programs/courses
8. Ensuring that accreditation standards are met for ACEN and Middle States.
9. Working with the faculty team to maintain a quality program and ensure students have a good learning experience.
10. Teaching a course load of 3 to 8 hours per week and fill in at clinical sites when necessary
11. Completing other duties assigned by the Executive Director.

Pay: $79,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
