Job Summary
Occupational Therapists design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to empower patients in enhancing their daily living skills and work capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute customized therapy plans aimed at improving activities of daily living.
- Utilize a range of skills including therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, splint fabrication, adaptive equipment recommendations, therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and physical modalities.
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to motivate patients and provide compassionate care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience
- Adult Experience Required
- Active IL OT License
- Completed Work History
- Skills Checklist (Current, within the past year)
- Two Supervisory References with employment dates
- Candidate's Permanent Address (Not eligible for applicants within 50 miles)
Unit-Specific Information
- EMR System: Cerner
- Dress Code: Maroon scrub top, black scrub pants
- Non-Billable Hours: 16 hours
- OT/Holiday Markups: 1.25x Regular Rate
- Callback Markup: 1.3x Regular Rate
- On-Call Rate: $5 per hour
- Applicants who were direct employees within the last 2 years are ineligible
