JOB SUMMARY
Assumes responsibility for development and coordination of programs and services determined by the needs of the population being served, available resources, and other local characteristics. Develops and maintains contact with business and community representatives to enhance students' ability to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships and programs that promote early learning and successful transition to school, academic achievement and well-being, and graduation and transition into adult life
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Plan, coordinate and implement the center Continuation Program Plan.
- Market and publicize the Center to all stakeholders.
- Provide outreach to target populations via home visits, neighborhood, agency meetings, church meetings, etc.
- Conduct on-going needs assessments via family surveys, school and community data, and staff input.
- Develop relationships with community agencies in an effort to build partnerships to support students and families.
- Evaluate and monitor program impact.
- Provide referral information to families.
- Facilitate the identification of the Center Advisory Council and the regular meetings of this group providing oversight and guidance to the Center’s operations.
- Adhere to the deadlines and timelines, set forth by the district and state; Attend and participate in district, regional and state meetings and trainings, as required.
- Actively participate in collaborative work with the school student support professional team (SAT, PBIS Tier Team, MTSS Team, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized center.
- Follow guidelines outlined in the Division of FRYSC Contract with the District.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate in more than one language or the willingness to learn to communicate in more than one language at the novice level of proficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies, Child Development, Education or other fields with relevant experience; and three (3) years of successful experience.
- Prefer youth specific experience for Youth Service Center Coordinator and family specific experience for Family Resource Center Coordinator.
