Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing children and supporting their development in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children 6 weeks - 11 years old while providing them with the attention and support they need to thrive. The Childcare Team Member will play a crucial role in fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages play, sports, exercise and fun. The shifts that we have available are Monday - Thursday 4-8 pm, Saturday 8 am - 1 pm and Sunday 1-5 pm.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and rest periods.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
- Assist with behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among children.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding any concerns that may arise.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with children of various ages, particularly in preschool settings.
- Ability to provide infant care with patience and understanding.
- Strong care giving skills that prioritize the well-being of children.
- Experience as a Nanny or similar roles is a plus.
- Must love kids! :)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
