What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Custodial Worker 1 position at Fayetteville-Manlius School District Office?
Location: District-wide (All buildings as needed)
Hours: First and second shifts available, 8 hours per-day
Rate of Pay: $17 per-hour
Duties: The primary duties of this position involve performing routine cleaning tasks under the direct supervision of a Custodian. Specific instructions will be provided for new assignments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning and polishing desks and furniture, washing and dusting windows, blinds, woodwork, walls, and fixtures, and cleaning restrooms (including basins, mirrors, toilets, urinals, and shower stalls). Additional duties include refilling soap, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers. Depending on the assigned area, the position may also require sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, and polishing floors, moving furniture for cleaning purposes, and collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables.
