Summary of Responsibilities
As a Senior AI & Data Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the organization’s data lakehouse, data pipelines, and AI/ML integration strategies. You will lead the development and deployment of scalable AI-driven solutions, utilizing advanced SQL, Python, Spark, and ETL tools to manage and refine complex data ecosystems. Your role will involve building and optimizing AI-ready data pipelines, enhancing data models to support machine learning workflows, and troubleshooting performance issues within the data infrastructure. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and junior developers to translate organizational needs into innovative data solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical mentorship, conduct peer reviews, lead data model walkthroughs, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the Data & Analytics team. This role supports enterprise-wide AI adoption, automates analytics processes, and implements Agile and DevOps practices to drive efficiency and scalability.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, and ETL tools.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud-based solutions (OCI, AWS, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and Oracle Fusion Analytics.
- Proven experience implementing AI-driven analytics and automation tools.
- Understanding of machine learning and AI applications.
- Strong understanding of data governance and metadata management practices.
- Proficiency in Agile and DevOps practices.
- Ability and willingness to serve as a mentor to other Data & Analytics staff, providing coaching, peer reviews, and other instruction to support professional growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from a four-year accredited university/college with a bachelor’s degree in business, technology, data management, or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in data management or a related field OR
- Graduation from a two-year accredited university/college or technical institute with a degree/certification in business, technology, data management, or a related field and a minimum of seven years' experience in data management or a related field OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience as defined above.
Special Requirements
- Must possess and maintain:
- (1) Data Science & AI for Analytics Certification (AI Certification) AND
- (1) Cloud Certification (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar) OR
- (1) Data Engineering Certification (OCI/AWS/Databricks/Similar)

Salary : $88,487 - $116,582
