Eagle Fat Analysis (FA) Operator

Position Summary

The Eagle Fat Analysis (FA) Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the Eagle FA Machine, ensuring accurate fat measurement and contaminant detection in meat products. This role involves monitoring the machine's performance, conducting regular maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Essential Functions

· Operate the Eagle FA Machine: Set up, calibrate, and operate the FA3M machine to perform fat analysis and contaminant detection on various meat products.

· Monitor Machine Performance: Continuously monitor the machine's performance, ensuring accurate measurements and detection of contaminants such as metals, glass, calcified bones, and stones.

· Conduct Regular Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the machine operates efficiently and comply with safety standards.

· Quality Assurance: Ensure all meat products meet the required fat-to-lean ratio specifications and are free from contaminants.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine calibration, inspection results, and maintenance activities.

· Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including radiation and electrical safety standards

· Product Switch: Utilize the PRODUCT SWITCH functionality to adjust inspection parameters for different products without downtime.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $23.00 per hour
