Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Daycare Director
- Maintains all students’ files up to date, including medical and emergency contact information, and records of any behavioral incidents
- Creates the menu for the preschool and daycare snacks and/or lunches, in accordance with the defined program guidelines, and orders food and supplies
- Creates the work schedule, and ensures guidelines for ratios of staff to students are met
- Coordinates policies and procedures according to implemented funding programs
- Fills in for teachers and assistants when there is no substitute available
- Accepts responsibility for ensuring the daycare and preschool is in full compliance with all licensing and safety regulations
- Keeps records on all staff members to ensure that the records are in compliance with licensing and continuing education requirements
- Institutes' fire and disaster preparedness drills as required by law
- Attends meetings with the staff and with the FBC Baldwyn Preschool & Daycare Board
- Approves procare notes
Eligibility requirement:
- Has successfully completed the necessary coursework required by the Mississippi State Department of Health
- Has clearance through a state and federal background check and has up-to-date immunization records.
