Commercial Roofing Project Manager / Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Project Manager / Estimator to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively negotiate contracts and manage costs. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to work collaboratively with diverse teams on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while maintaining rigorous cost control measures.
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for project estimation, planning, and documentation.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, including financial performance and timelines for stakeholders.
• Implement effective communication strategies to keep all parties informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management & estimating within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in using project management software such as and HeavyBid.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing competitive pricing on contracts.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration on construction sites.
• Familiarity with cost control practices in commercial construction projects.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
