In this role, you will work alongside your team while directing operations on-site, making real-time decisions, and keeping projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and work alongside your crew to efficiently complete post-frame construction projects.
- Manage crew productivity, ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Plan and allocate daily responsibilities, keeping projects on track and within budget.
- Train and mentor crew members, improving skills and efficiency.
- Ensure job site safety by enforcing OSHA guidelines and company policies.
- Operate and supervise the use of machinery and equipment to maximize job site performance.
- Identify and resolve job site challenges quickly to keep projects moving.
- Communicate with project managers and supervisors on progress, resource needs, and any site issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience leading construction crews as a working foreman.
- Strong background in post-frame construction, carpentry, or related trades.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to execute projects accurately.
- Hands-on leadership skills, with a focus on productivity and team development.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Commitment to job site safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
