Elevate your finance career within our Life Accounting team. As an accountant with 3-5 years' experience, you will gain high visibility, work directly with VPs, and play a crucial role in the financial reporting for our wealth management companies. Our team handles all financial reporting and analysis of a FINRA regulated broker dealer and investment advisor. If you have a strong background in accounting, analytical skills, and a passion for learning, we'll equip you with the knowledge and tools to succeed.

What You’ll Do:
- Daily accounting, monthly financial statement analysis and capital computation.
- Quarterly reporting, including preparation and filing the FINRA Focus reports and annual audited financial statements.
- Maintaining/updating the quarterly wealth management forecast models.
- Validation of wealth management commission data.
- Work with internal and external auditors to support the year-end audit of the broker dealer.
- Daily calculation of unit values, trade communications and balancing of our subaccounts as needed.
- Assistance with special projects; including adding carriers to commission systems, building analytical reports, and consolidating processing.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CPA designation
- Experience:
- Public accounting experience
- Experience supporting shared functional groups as a finance expert or liaison.
- Experience in financial reporting with exposure to broker dealer operations is a plus.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, including senior executives.
- Strong technical skills: Proficiency in Excel, other accounting software, data management and financial analysis tools.
- Knowledge of BPC 10.0, SAP Accounting
