Identity and Access Management (IAM) Technical Lead
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive IAM Technical Lead to provide technical leadership in identity and access management (IAM) to protect the security of corporate data and information resources across multiple platforms. This role involves developing and maintaining enterprise IAM systems, staying current on security vulnerabilities, and designing innovative solutions to mitigate business risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise IAM systems and technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest security vulnerabilities, technologies, and techniques. Design and implement innovative security and identity solutions to mitigate business risks.
- Create and enforce IAM policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Develop functional designs for IAM security systems components, defining system scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Identify and prioritize issues, projects, and problems. Investigate, coordinate, report, and follow up on IAM security incidents.
- Identify and resolve potential security risks through security reviews, evaluations, and risk assessments. Recommend improvements.
- Lead and coordinate communication with developers, customers, and management regarding problem resolution and system issues.
- Conduct research and maintain a high level of knowledge in IAM systems software/hardware to ensure high-quality operations and implementations.
- Manage day-to-day security operations, including managed services providers and IAM systems administration. Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
- Lead large-scale or complex projects, including system integration and recommending new technology in collaboration with other IT teams.
- Oversee staff development, including selection, training, performance reviews, salary administration, workflow control, employee motivation, and budget activities.
- SailPoint Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of SailPoint to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize identity lifecycle processes and custom connectors.
- Incident Handling: Serve as the escalation point for complex IAM incidents, driving root cause analysis and resolution to maintain compliance and service continuity.
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree or equivalent plus seven years of IAM experience.
- Experience as an information security professional or demonstrated advanced level of knowledge and/or skills in security concepts, technologies, and/or field research and study required.
- Advanced IAM Designation/Certification and/or large IAM platform implementation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IAM incident handling methods, development techniques, and at least three IAM controls approaches.
- Oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead others.
- Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.
