Key Responsibilities:
- Support subsystem definition, development, integration, verification, and airworthiness certification of hardware/software systems.
- Collaborate on Aircraft Information Management Systems (AIMS) requirements, testing, certification, and spectrum management.
- Apply knowledge of Communications, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) requirements, policies, and regulations to define requirements and support testing and certification.
- Attend technical reviews and provide advice on hardware/software integration and installation.
- Review program databases, technical documents, and assist in performing assessments on compliance with specifications and airworthiness requirements.
- Support the avionics team in the development of future upgrades and system requirements.
- Assist with materials solution analyses, design reviews, and translating user requirements into system requirements for aircraft systems.
- Prepare technical documents, evaluations, engineering studies, and acquisition strategies, ensuring compliance with airworthiness and safety standards.
