Job Title: Business Development Manager – Landscape Construction
Location: Maltby, WA
Job Summary:
We seek a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our landscape construction division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a deep understanding of the landscape construction industry and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand the company’s client base.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in commercial, residential, and municipal landscaping.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and architects.
- Lead the bid and proposal process, collaborating with estimating and operations teams.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure profitable project acquisition.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Requirements:
- 5 years of business development experience in landscape construction, site development, or related industries.
- Strong network within the construction, real estate development, and property management sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, project specifications, and contracts.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Management, or a related field(preferred).
