Job Title: Neurologist - General Neurology with Focus on Head Injuries
Location: North Orlando, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $400,000 per annum
- Incentive Compensation: Additional performance-based incentives
Work Environment:
- Outpatient Clinic Setting
- On-site work required
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neurological evaluations and consultations to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, with a particular emphasis on head injuries and TBI.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological disorders, including but not limited to:
- Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI)
- Concussions
- Post-concussive syndrome
- Headaches and migraines
- Seizure disorders
- Stroke
- Neuropathy
- Movement disorders
- and other general neurological conditions.
- Perform and interpret neurological diagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging studies.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, rehabilitation therapies, and patient education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in neurology and head injury management.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventative measures.
- Potentially participate in clinical research.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
- Fellowship training or significant experience in head injury/TBI management preferred.
- Valid Florida medical license.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Salary : $395,000 - $400,000
