Job Title: Physician Assistant - Orthopedics
Location: Broward Counties, FL
Compensation: $125,000 per year (depending on experience) Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Consult and evaluate patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Manage patient care plans under the supervision of the Orthopedic Surgeon.
- Triage patients to Orthopedic Surgery, assessing their needs and prioritizing cases.
- Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including non-surgical and post-operative care.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with the supervising physician, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all established protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Travel between clinic locations in Palm Beach and Broward Counties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current and valid Florida Physician Assistant license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Experience in orthopedics preferred, but new graduates with relevant rotations will be considered.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $125,000
