Job Summary:
A leading construction firm specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee utility pipeline work. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality in municipal water and sewer utility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead field operations for self-perform and subcontractor utility pipeline work with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Organize manpower and materials to optimize installation processes.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth project execution.
- Utilize industry best practices for municipal water and sewer utility work and mentor team members.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, schedules, and safety regulations.
- Work in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading underground utility pipeline construction.
- Ability to read and interpret plan and profile drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of aggregates, pipe materials, and structures.
- Experience in installing and testing underground pipes, including ductile iron (restrained joint, mechanical joint, push-joint), Hobas, HDPE, and concrete pipe.
- Hands-on experience operating and overseeing heavy machinery.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
