Job Summary
The Audio Visual Coordinator is a key position within the FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium team. This position will be responsible for assisting the audio and visual technology needs at TQL Stadium. The role will assist the Systems Manager in all facets of TVs and audio capabilities within TQL Stadium, including those elements within the Private Events department. The Audio Visual Coordinator must have exceptionally strong communication, creative and organizational skills and be deadline-driven in execution. Creativity, strong attention to detail, dedication and hard work are paramount to success in the position. A strong understanding and familiarity with key match presentation skills – organization, performance and live entertainment production skills – are necessary.

FC Cincinnati is a Major League Soccer team playing at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Originally founded in 2015 by Carl H. Lindner III and Co-CEO Jeff Berding, FCC began play in the United Soccer League (USL) in 2016. FCC entered MLS as the 24th team in 2019. The club's wide and diverse ownership group is led by controlling owner Lindner III; as well as managing owners Meg Whitman and Dr. Griff Harsh; Scott Farmer; and George Joseph. FC Cincinnati opened the club's privately funded, 26,000-seat soccer-specific TQL Stadium in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati in 2021, a venue which has won numerous global awards including the World Football Summit Best Venue 2022 in Madrid and the 2022 Prix Versailles World Title in the Sports Category in Paris, France. What You'll Do:
- Operate A/V for private events in the stadium.
- Assist with match day IPTV, club audio, and walk out lights.
- Assist with replacing TVs and IPTV end points, Video Board repair, and cable repair.
- Track inventory of all things A/V.
- Assist with IPTV operation during event days
- Ensure all TVs are operational, and IPTV controls are working.
- Maintain all video boards in the stadium including replacement of LED modules
- RMA modules that need to be repaired or replaced.
- Assist with the removal and placement of the field display for events that don't wish to use it.
- Manage lighting controls for Magic Q which controls the Player Walk Out Lights.
- Handle all IT and AV for private events.
- Set up all audio and video needs for the client.
- Route IPTVs and change ports for operations.
- Load graphics into Dak for video boards in seating bowl.
- Provide suggestions to clients as well as assist with walkthroughs
- Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- In addition to normal business hours, weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required as schedule and project workload dictates. Travel may be required.
- Currently pursuing or obtained bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Film, Mass Media or related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to positively engage fans, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- A strategic planner with the ability to execute at a high level to bring the plan to life.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with integration of multi-branded marketing and sponsorship environment.
- Ability to independently resolve issues and manage issues effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with superior attention to detail
- Computer skills necessary, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in live event, broadcast or concert production
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Experience with Ross Xpression and Daktronics systems is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to connect with, and relate to, all levels of staff, management, clients, and vendors
- Ability to multi-task and effectively adjust to rapidly changing market and business conditions.
