What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Manager, Archer Aviation Aircraft Manufacturing Facility position at FCA?
Stellantis is currently seeking a full - time H uman Resources Manager who will play a critical role in enabling Stellantis (NYSE: STLA) to establish and scale the manufacture and assembl y of Archer Aviation’s (NYSE: ARCH) electric vertical take-off-and-landing aircraft ( named “Midnight”) in Archer’s all-new Covington, Georgia facility. The H R Manager will be responsible to creat e a “ start-up ” minded , high performing and dynamic work environment that will enable the Stellantis-Archer partnership to succeed by ( i ) driving a positive workplace culture among Stellantis employees and contractors that promotes collaboration, innovation , engagement, inclusiveness and a sense of purpose ; and ( ii) establishing a positive working relationship with Archer’s airline operations personnel who will be co-located in the Covington, Georgia facility .
The H R Manager will be responsible for establishing and overseeing all aspects of People-related policies, processes and procedures affecting the Stellantis employees and contractors that will ma nufacture and assemble the Midnight aircraft . Such manufacturing operations will be executed through a newly created U.S. based legal entity . This role will support business needs to facilitate achievement of key Stellantis-Archer objectives including production volume growth and aircraft cost reduction objectives .
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement recruitment and workforce planning strategies to address current and future talent needs, aligning with production schedules, capacity expansion, and technological advancements in the aircraft manufacturing sector
Design and i mplement training and onboarding programs for salaried team members , contract technician workforce , and ancillary salary team members to support plant operations.
Partner , collaborate and build productive working relationships with Archer Aviation leadership , employees and contractors, including to address and resolve issues .
Partner, collaborate, and build productive working relationships with Archer and Stellantis leadership, employees and contractors to address workforce challenges and ensure operational effectiveness.
Work with Stellantis and Archer plant leadership to design a work culture that ensures the desired results by moving with greater agility and pace, empowering ownership and driving personal accountability among all workers .
Provide opportunities for professional growth through on-the-job learning, training, mentoring and career progression .
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, and industry standards related to aircraft manufacturing.
Engage with FCA US LLC Human Resources, ICT, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Legal and other FCA US LLC organizations to ensure support of Covington aircraft operations from a systems and processes perspective, as required .
Establish Stellantis as a strong community partner in the Covington area and coordinate with Archer’s Head of People Operations leader to serve as the joint “face” of aircraft operations to Community leaders in Covington and beyond .
Key Experiences and Know-how:
Prior e xperience managing People-related activities including recruitment, talent management, performance management , and /or similar activities is required
Prior experience working in a start-up environment is preferred
Basic and Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of human resources experience with increasing responsibilities.
3 years of experience leading others in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources , business administration or related field is required .
