We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Capacity Lead to join our team and manage supplier capacity constraints across multiple Stellantis Assembly Plants. This key leadership role involves working closely with suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Program Management, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Brand and other Supply Chain Management teams to ensure optimal capacity planning. You will drive the resolution of capacity issues, ensuring we are prepared for both short-term and long-term production needs.
The Vehicle Capacity Lead will lead a small team of specialists focused on capacity management, balancing the demands of program changes and product planning, while minimizing inefficiencies. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead and Develop a Team: Manage and mentor a team of two analysts focused on supplier capacity and constraint management
Ensure Capacity Alignment: Ensure suppliers and programs are adequately prepared for demand-driven changes or product plan modifications well in advance of program launches
Resolve Capacity Shortfalls: Identify and address capacity issues by ensuring accurate release data and developing business cases to secure necessary funding for capacity solutions
Balance Short and Long-Term Planning: Manage both immediate and future capacity requirements to optimize production schedules and reduce inefficiency costs
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Purchasing, Brand, Engineering, Program Management, and other SCM groups to align on capacity needs and program timing
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and propose solutions to enhance capacity planning and reduce bottlenecks
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Production Planning, Manufacturing, or closely related fields
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and strategic insights in a clear and concise manner at various organizational levels
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead a team that consistently delivers results
Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and other analysis tools and processes
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to changes in business requirements
Strategic thinking and process improvement mindset, with a track record of developing effective solutions
Self-directed and driven to continuously improve processes and drive results
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supplier management and resolving capacity constraints in a manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of capacity planning tools and software
Project management experience, especially in cross-functional teams working on high-priority initiatives
