Role
- Coordinator for APQP and PPAP.
Responsibilities
- Manage blueprint control, including review of new blueprints, issuance, filing, controlled copies, and supplier issuance. Give presentations to management on changes. Complete annual audit of blueprints.
- Coordinate and participate in lineside audits for product or process changes. Track the status of issues and share responsibility with the subject department to move forward to closure.
- Control handling of trial parts and share responsibility with the subject department to contain trial parts at all times.
- Coordinate with other departments to prepare PPAP documentation. Assemble the documentation for PPAP submission and approval.
- Manage external document control, including review of new documents, issuance, filing, controlled copies, and supplier issuance. Give presentations to management on changes. Complete monthly audit of documents.
- Plan and execute trials with other departments for product or process changes. Report the results of trials to management.
- Coordinate with other departments to create and manage Gantt chart schedules for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Regularly present to all levels of management APQP updates and compliance to customer requirements.
- Comply with all IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 systems to ensure a quality product. Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Additional projects assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 4-year degree in business, industrial technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Six-sigma greenbelt
